Rock Climbing Party Invitation and Favor

If you are getting ready for a rock climbing party, check out Design Mom’s amazingly creative invitations and party favors for inspiration.  Of course, the majority of the party will take place at your rock climbing venue, but certainly you can go to town on the invitations and favors to make it really fun for your guests and birthday child.

Very cool ideas.  When you are at the party, perhaps you could also host some rock climbing relay races too. Make sure to check with the place before you do this, however!

Halloween Recipe Helper

Looking for some videos to show you how to make some creepy, crawly recipes this season.  Check out Kraft Foods Halloween Helper.  Such great recipes with easy How To videos to make some of your favorites, like Ghosts in the Graveyard and Caramel Apples.  They also have some new favorites of mine, red Jell-O with eyeballs…and the Monster Cake…made with cupcakes.

An easy, quick way to dress up a regular cake mix, and your Halloween table, is with a fun pan.  I love this Jack O’ Lantern one from Amazon.

Pumpkin Carving Party

shutterstock_28644040Well, Halloween is right around the corner! One of the BEST parts of the season is carving the pumpkins. When I was little, it was an automatic party, as I have two brothers and all of us got our own pumpkins, which we got to design for my Dad, who then carved them to our specifications. Lucky kids, huh?

Even if you are only carving one pumpkin this year, how about gathering a few families together for a pumpkin carving party!
