Candy Buffet Party Inspiration

Candy Buffet PartyRecently someone who is turning 13 commented that for the upcoming special party she was going to create a Sweet Candy Buffet as a party centerpiece for the occasion.  I love this idea and think it can be used for any type of party from birthday celebrations for all ages to graduations to Bar and Bat Mitzvahs and beyond.  If this idea appeals to you, I would visit Amy Atlas Events for her eye candy to see some great visuals for candy and dessert buffets that are sure to please your guests of all ages.

Snow White Party Ideas

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is a classic Disney tale that kids are sure to love.  This fall Disney is bringing the classic movie out of its vault and it will be available on DVD for your children to watch again and again.  It is a timeless tale.   If your children are between the ages of 3 and 7,  this movie is also a great birthday party theme! Olivia If your child is a fan of Ian Falconer’s Olivia, she can now watch this darling character on Nick Junior. Olivia is a curious 6-and-three-quarter-year-old piglet who believes big things are unfolding each and every day. With a precocious mind and a definite sense of purpose, Olivia is ready to take on her world in a big way. These books are absolutely charming, and perhaps already a favorite in your own home.

Olivia would make a wonderful and unique party theme. If this interests you, check out these ideas:

Buy some fake blood to drip, drip, drip around the front porch.  Or a life-size human heart nestled in a pool of blood?

Easy Halloween Costumes

shutterstock_9682993The Halloween spirit can hit you at any time, but a clever costume may be hard to find. Never fear, Jeanne Benedict of Celebrations.com has some quick and easy costumes that you can put together with items from home to help you look your best on Halloween.

Last-minute costumes seem to be most successful when they are conceptual such as “E-Male,” where a guy wears a big “E” on his shirt, or “Static Cling,” an oldie but goodie costume made by pinning a sock to a shirt.

Bunch of Grapes
