The Hostess with the Mostess has recently spotlighted a Candy Buffet on Real Simple’s Celebrations Blog. She provides excellent tips for creating your very own candy buffet. Often these are done for weddings and baby showers. Kids, of course, love candy, and this would go along beautifully for a Candyland Themed party. You may also want to create a mini version of this for your kids’ party table or to set up a sweet treat table as the children depart.
Here are some more Candy Sources too!
Fun idea, and what a great visual impact too!

I love candy buffets – had one at my wedding and it went over very well. Everyone loved all the candy – we had a lot of hard to find candy from when we were young. We also had a chocolate fountain, so it really brought back images of Willy Wonka. I highly recommend having a candy buffet. I also highly recommend the place we used called “My Candy Buffet” there website is http://www.mycandybuffet.com – they also provide advice on doing it yourself, but we used their service and loved it!
Lot’s of fun candies wrapped for protection and freshness and all personalized with a thank you for your guests! Save on our candies as you purchase just for each guest so you can figure the exact price you want to spend!
I’d second that recommendation for a candy buffet, if you let the guests help themselves out of nice containers and present the candy table nicely, and according to the colour scheme it looks great at the party too!
