Abby Cadabby merchandise is now stocked at many places, including Celebrate Express and Birthday in a Box.

Personalized invitations would be great for your guests. (Love the cute pink furry hands on this invitation!)

An Abby Cadabby costume is sure to be a hit with the little girls,  just in time for Halloween, or for that special birthday present, at Costume Express. Too cute!

Birthday in a Box also has darling Abby Cadabby party favors. The stickers and Abby pinata will be a HUGE hit!

As part of a costume for Halloween, or even as a gift to that special little girl, check out the DARLING Abby Cadabby wings at Birthday in a Box!

For some more Abby Cadabby costume ideas, you could use:

A Pink Fairy Outfit: Luckily, Abby Cadabby is mainly dressed in blue, pink and purple, so you could get a pink fairy outfit. Since Abby’s mom is a fairy godmother, the outfit goes along well with who she is. You can also make a wand that looks like the one Abby uses.

The pink/purple funny hair poofs would be additionally quite cute. You probably could make the wand and hair pieces to match.

Pink Tights, Blue Smock, T-shirt and Gloves: Put pink tights, a pink t-shirt, and pink gloves on your kid. On top of these pieces, a blue smock fairy dress would be a good match.

I think all of us may have to cobble together such costumes this year, if a true Abby Cadabby Halloween costume is not available for purchase. If anyone reading this knows something different, I’d love to hear from you!

Update: Susan has a great idea (check out the discussions below), and Angel and Trevor have found costumes at Ebay!

Say It!

  3. There are several books and dolls out there. The cutest doll I found was from Playful Plush Toys. She costs a little more, but she is much cuter than the one from Walmart with the DVD.
Making a costume should be easy. Use a leotard and get some fairy skirts from your local Dollar Tree add tights and a wand from the Dollar Tree and your set! Dollar Tree even has wings and tiaras! The whole outfit should cost less than $10.00!!!

  14. I am doing my daughter’s first birthday in Abby Cadabby. I am buying alot of the stuff at Dollar Tree/ Everything’s A Dollar store, such as plates in blue, napkins, purple and pink cups. I am getting some stuff but just for decoration fom Celebrate express. As favors I went to Sam’s and bought Pixie Stix and glued pom poms from the art supply store to the top as Fairy Wands. I bought wings for all the little girls from the dollar store, also I bought paper lunch bags for the kids to make their own treat bags ( with Abby Cadabby stickers, markers, etc.).

  15. Target has Abby Cadabby birthday party supplies now! They are dirt cheap compared to these websites…plus you don’t have to pay shipping. At my store it was only $1.69 for a pkg of plates…where most of the websites make you pay $2.50-$4.00 plus shipping. Hope this helps!

  16. Michele has the right idea. Get one or two Abby items, then partner them with things in pink, purple and turquoise. You could do the cake and maybe a centerpiece and that won’t break the budget.

I have links to costumes on my Abby Cadabby birthday party page, but all the places I can find them are out of stock right now. They’re going to let me know when they come in. I’m working on some simple directions so you can make your own Abby hair and wand. Then find a turquoise dress and you’re good to go. (Also looking for turquoise dresses. Not as easy to find as you’d think. :-)

  17. Brandy, thanks for the tip about target got my party goods there today.

Susan, the childrens place has a turquoise dress now and purple pom pom bows that might actually work. I am going to look at them in person this weekend and see if that works for my littl eone.

  18. It’s a little late, but I wanted to post last year at Halloween… See my little Abby Cadabby from last halloween. I made the costume the night before at work. I had ordered it online at Ebay from a gal who was making them, but unfortunately she took my money and then never did send an outfit. I thought it was cute, and she actually won a few costume contests with it as well.
