My son loves his teacher at school and has asked if she can be invited to his party. Is this appropriate?

Before you officially invite your kid’s teacher, check in at the school and see if there is any type of policy regarding the situation. If there isn’t, the next step is to contact the teacher directly and see if she would be interested in attending before extending an official invitation. Perhaps she wouldn’t feel comfortable because the other classroom students will be there or simply isn’t interested. If this is the case, you can discuss with your child that she is unable to attend due to having other plans, etc. If she is interested in attending and there is no school policy in place that doesn’t allow this, then extend the invitation to her. Your kid will be thrilled and it will be fun for everyone to share birthday party with a favorite teacher.

The key is to discuss it with the teacher first!

  1. My 8 year old daughter is turning 9. she is very into high school musical. if you are plannning to have a high school musical party, an idea of invitations is: MAKE VIP passes. print out high school musical pictures and on the back write down the information. go to office depot and get those plastic badge holders and put the sheet in. then get lanyards, optional high school musical ones from target. this could also work great on other themes. have the guest wear the passes to the party.
