Looking for a great birthday party plan for school-aged boys? Here is a party idea that is tons of fun will keep the kids busy for awhile, and also budget-friendly? Create a felt alien stuffed with anything you can think of and let the the kids perform an Alien Autopsy! That’s right.
Purchase two large pieces of felt and cut them both into Alien shapes, i.e. have your child lay down on the felt pieces and draw an outline of your child and cut both pieces out. Sew the two pieces together to form your alien body. Keep a portion of the body open so you can stuff it with anything you like around your home from foods to tools to whatever you have around that would be fun to stuff inside your alien and then continue to sew him up completely.
When the kids attend this party, la out your stuffed alien on to a long table and let them know they will be performing an Alien Autopsy in the dark.
Party Tip: Keep the lights on very low or provide flashlights around the room for a small amount of light. However, the best part will be performing this autopsy in the dark.
Before it begins, cut a series of small incisions for the kids to pull out all of the alien autopsy items.
After the kids perform this activity, set up a scavenger hunt in the dark too. Have them search out Glo-Sticks, gummy candy, hard boiled eggs, and anything else you can think of to match your alien fun!
Simple fun, and lots of intrigue and fun for school-aged boys!
