I’m looking for party favors for an Amazing Race/ Fear Factor party for 12-year-olds, any ideas?

How about an Amazing Race T-shirt that ties in with your theme. Create a customized decal or printable that ties the two together, for example, “Amazing Race with a Slice of Fear Bonanza!” These shirts could be worn during the race and taken home for the goody.

Also, at the end of the real Amazing Race, the teams win money. You could have a bag of fake money and award it to the winning team, as well as certificates for everyone else that completed the race. Kids love to win prizes and, along with the certificates of completion, you could give them a small gift certificate for an ice cream cone or to a video arcade. The kids will love this!

Look to the Amazing Race party plan for more ideas related to this theme!

  1. For my amazing race birthday party, my party of five and I stayed up late and went to stores that remained open all night. We had various challenges to do in the stores, like purchasing items for the next challenge or doing a challenge in the store. Usually the cashiers would hold our next clue, but we had no idea which cashier! The challenges were in these categories; mental, physical, and strong stomach. On one challenge we had to TP two houses before we could recieve our next clue. We also did some challenges in vacant parking lots. Each team of three had a video camera and the driver taped them as they did their challenges so after everything was done, the opposing team could see if there was any cheating going on. The team who finished first, recieved a prize for their efforts. The other team did too but not as big of a prize. We were out for nearly 3 to 4 hours running through stores and restaurants to become the winning team! Over all the party took a lot of preperation, but all paid off in the end!! I have also had many as equally exciting parties such as ; a survivor party, a hotel party, a New Years Party, a Halloween Party, and many more since I have been about 7 years of age.
