Baby Einstein Birthday Party Ideas

Baby Einstein is a wonderful series for small children, and parents often find it a darling theme for their baby’s first birthday ~ especially because although your child may not be able to tell you what he wants at that age, parents know their kid loves Baby Einstein. If this is your plan, here are some ideas for your upcoming party:

I have to say, the ones that have just one character per plate are awefully cute! As an alternative, you could make the colors an assortment of primary ones and that would work just as well, or feel free to mix and match; solid napkins with the character plates for example. Decorate with bunches of balloons and streamers as well in the colors you choose. A Baby Einstein Mylar Balloon would be a special addition for the birthday kid’s chair.

Use some Baby Einstein puppets as centerpieces for your party table.

Pick out a few of your favorite Baby Einstein characters, such as “Vincent Van Goat.” Use these characters on the party invitation and/or the cake.

Play a few Baby Einstein DVDs ~ if most of the kids are around the age of one they will love it.

If you have older kids attending, other activities could include: making a picture frame out of popsicle sticks. Playing little musical instruments, such as a harmonica or Kazoo. Enjoying a puppet theater based on the Baby Einstein Characters, and having the kids make Paper Bag Puppets as well. The frame, small musical instrument, and puppet could all be take home goodies for the older kids as well.

Make a “Caterpillar Cupcake” cake to resemble the Baby Einstein Caterpillar.

For the goody bags, purchase primary color bags and fill it with a Baby Einstein board book, tub toy, and stickers. Put the kids’ names on the bags as well.
