Bouncy Balls

Bouncy balls are so much fun and are sure to be a hit at most parties, no matter the theme.

Zoomdo by PBS Kids has instructions for making bouncy balls and then, of course, playing with them—this is both a craft and a game/activity.

You can also play a host of ball games: kick ball, soccer, four square, and basketball. For an easy game, you could provide little rubber balls and have the kids see how high they can bounce them.

If you have small children, you could have the kids bounce the balls as a relay race.

There are many popular themes that come complete with bouncy balls, such as this cool Spiderman ball from Birthday in a Box. These would be perfect, of course, for a game during the party, and can serve double-duty as a goody to take home.

Balls are an easy party favorite, especially during summer birthdays when you most likely will want to take the fun outdoors. Don’t forget to play tag and other run-around games that will also be easy and fun!
