Other things that come to mind are little “ball” games, such as bouncy balls, paddle balls, jax, etc. They all go along with the ball theme. Also fun are wacky shoelaces. You could always get notepads, pencils, and erasers with a bowling balls on them. If you can’t find bowling balls exactly, a general ball theme would be fine for these types of bowling favors as well.
