shutterstock_739297-2With their own hip-hop style, girls, especially around the age of 8, love the Bratz pack, so don’t be surprised if your birthday kid wants to celebrate in Bratz style. If you are looking for ideas on this theme, take a look at the official Bratz website – which will give you a good idea of these characters’ fashion power and what they are all about. Also, there are games, activities, and product information that you may find helpful with planning your party. Your kid may end up showing you this destination site anyway.

Here are some  Bratzy party ideas:

  • Disco Dance!
  • Remember with the Bratz pack, the glittier and fancier the better! Decorate with not only balloons, but also glitter and gems all over the party room!
  • Have flashy dress-up, and let the kids walk the runway in Bratzy fashion!
  • Fashion Emergency Game. Divide the kids into two teams and provide them each with an identical fashion kit, i.e yard of fabric, crepe paper, lace, pins, etc. and have each team design their own fashion outfit which they must present. Have a panel of judges, a few adults to make the presentation to. Both teams are rewarded.
  • Bratz Memory Game, fill a purse with all things that the Bratz girls need, i.e. cell phone, lip gloss, body glitter, feather pen, etc. Have the kids each take a look in the bag and then they have to write down all of the items in the bag. The one who remembers the most wins!
  • Play Pass the Nail Polish, have three bottles of nail polish on hand and have the kids sit in a circle. Play music and have the kids pass the bottles. When the music stops, the kids holding the bottles must paint one of their toenails with the polish. The first kid to have all of her toes painted, wins!
  • Serve drinks in plastic champagne glasses.
  • For a fancy goody bag, take red velvet and sew it up into a little loot bag. Trim the tops with a furry material. Fill the bags with sparkling lip gloss, body glitter, fancy hair barrettes, lip-shaped chocolates, etc.

Amazon has a great selection of Bratz merchandise, including books, DVDs, room decor, and of course the dolls, if you are in the market for gifts for your Bratz obsessed young one.  And bonus! They even have Bratz party supplies!

The FamilyFun.com Sunglasses Cake would also add a touch of glamour to this bash!

Have a Bratzy Good Time!
