Ready to turn your party upside down…whether you are having a breakfast birthday party or want to mix up your party menu and serve breakfast for your party lunch menu…there are lots of ideas, and here are a few:

  • Purchase ice cream cones or waffle cones and fill with berries and cream
  • Serve mini breakfast burgers using mini-bagels and sausages
  • Build a donut tower with a little “Happy Birthday” flag perched atop the donuts. Take inspiration from the picture!
  • Take mini donut holes and frost them with different flavors and colors of frosting.  (The kids could even do this as a party activity)  (Check out Rachael Ray’s Caramel Tower!)
  • Have a build-a-bagel bar and have butter, jam, cream cheese, raisins, etc. out for the kids to top them off with.
  • Make small silver dollar pancakes or large round pancakes that the kids can cut into different shapes using cookie cutters.
  • Make mini-muffins and quiches.
  • Serve French Toast skewers, cut the french toast into chunks and place on skewers along with banana and strawberry slices.  Drizzle with syrup if you like.

The breakfast food will be a fun way to plan a menu either for a morning party or for a backwards party.  Yum….and remember if you do a donut tower, you don’t need to serve traditional  cake.
