Cards With Your Kids’ Party Presents?

Do I need to buy a card for the birthday present my child is taking to his upcoming birthday party or not?

You do not need to purchase a birthday card for the birthday presents that you give at parties.  It is a nice touch, but not necessary.  However, cards are helpful for the host parents to keep track of who gave which present to write thank you notes.  Try a hybrid model, and put a To/From tag on your present so parents can keep track, but you don’t spend more money on birthday cards. 

You can purchase a packet of gift tags or you can use wrapping paper and make it into a small tag and attach to the present.  Finally, to keep it simplest, you kids can write To/From right on the party present wrapping paper.
