Yum!

Bakerella whipped up this beautiful Valentine Day treat made with butterscotch and bright colors and that perfect heart shape.  She calls it Big Love…and I couldn’t agree more.  I want to gobble this up too!

Planning an Academy Awards party this year with your children?  It’s always a fun night to enjoy the awards ceremony and celebrate.  Bakerella has put together a wonderful recipe and tutorial for Awards Night Sugar Cookies that are simply outstanding for your party this year.  The recipe is fabulous, and look at how she displays her Awards Cookies and the darling small signs next to each one to add authenticity to her Oscars.

Cute as a Button is a darling theme for a first or toddler birthday and recently I found Bake It Pretty, a wonderful site offering sweet supplies for inspired bakers. I think the site also offers inspired, unique sweet ideas too, and this tutorial for candy buttons is no exception.  Excellent instructions, fab pictures, and fun packaging too…you can even download your own labels.  What a fabulous idea and I agree that these buttons would make an excellent party treat or favor for this theme or for a baby shower or a sewing/craft gathering as well.

Wow, I have been so psyched over Sesame Street’s 40th Birthday on November 10, 2009, and I am truly astounded by Bakerella’s Sesame Street Pops that she created to celebrate.
