A Balloon Dare

Looking for some more fun ideas to do with your party balloons? Have a Balloon Dare.

Using small pieces of paper, write age-appropriate dares on the paper. Some examples include, “Hug a teddy bear” or “Skip in a circle ten times,” etc. Whatever is fun and silly would be loads of fun, especially if it is a surprise! Sometime during the party, perhaps toward the end after cake and ice cream, have the kids each pop one balloon (have enough for each kid). Once they are popped, have the kids do their dare! It will be funny and fun to watch.

Making Balloon Darts

TIP:

If you are about to host a carnival and/or circus party, and are interested in having a “Balloon Burst” as one of your games, you will not only need balloons, but also darts to burst the balloons with. More than likely, you can go to a local toy store and buy a package of darts that are kid friendly to play the game with…but if you are interested in making your own balloon darts or having older kids make darts, check out this article on Dart Construction. Not only does it provide you with several different ways to make darts, but also a host of links to other interesting topics along these same lines.

Worth a look!
