Hotel Party Scavenger Hunt

shutterstock_5945716If you are hosting a birthday party for a favorite child at a hotel, a great game to play is to send the kids on a scavenger hunt around the hotel.  Divide the kids into two teams and give them a list of items to scavenge for around the venue.  One thing to note, make sure that the kids do not disturb the other hotel guests during the game as that may be a nuisance and the hotel’s management may call off your game.

Tween Game

When kids become a bit older they may not enjoy the old stand-by party games and parents may need to offer up something a bit more sophisticated. If so, for an ice breaker game to get the party and conversation rolling, sit them in a circle and have a big bowl of questions available. Each kid takes the bowl, picks a question, and must answer it. Then, if others want to chime in with their answers that is fine. Pass the bowl to the next person and continue the Q&A. They will learn about one another and enjoy speaking their thoughts and opinions! Continue the game until you want to move on to your next activity.
