On April 25, both Australia and New Zealand celebrate Anzac Day to commemorate a battle fought at Gallipoli, Turkey during World War I. It is a national holiday in these countries, and people enjoy being off from school and work. Even if you don’t live in these Australia or New Zealand, however, you can take some time to discuss the holiday with your kids.
