Are e-invitations appropriate to send out for kids’ parties?

It would seem in the sphere of kids’ parties, people still tend to send out invitations either via snail mail or hand-delivery. This can be for several reasons.

  1. Many people make a creative invitation that matches their theme and won’t fit into an envelope. Thus, these are hand-delivered.
  2. Often people enjoy putting together a photo invite together for their kids’ parties and so buying physical cards that allow people to slip in the photo is also quite popular.
  3. People are making invitations that will be delivered to other kids. They often don’t have access to computers or the savvy to know how/when to retrieve an evite.
  4. Even if most people are adults who are being invited, people still tend to think of kids’ party invitations as something sent via snail mail as it is a special occasion and the physical invitation kicks it off.
