Jaden Smith comes to screen this summer with an The Karate Kid movie being released this June. It should be a huge hit with school-aged children and, of course, karate lends itself to be of great interest to kids who often love to take karate classes and learn all about the world of karate. This summer with the movie release it will be a great time to plan a Karate Party. What’s more? This is a very easy party to plan as it can be held at a karate studio or,if you decide to have it at your home, hiring a karate instructor will make planning the activities a breeze.
One thing to keep in mind is safety. Some kids whom you invite may not be familiar with karate or this type of sport. So, having a licensed instructor and holding the party at a venue that is prepared in terms of safety considerations for all of your guests is definitely a must.

When I was in middle school I so looked forward to our bi-monthly school roller skating party at the local rink. None of us actually owned skates, but all of us rented our pair and took to the rink showing off our moves, holding hands with the boys during the couple skate, and doing the limbo together. Good times. During the winter, a roller rink is a perfect party venue, especially if your child and her friends love to roller skate. What’s great about this party? There is very little to plan after you secure your venue!
Tailgating is typically a “food sport” for the big kids, but plenty of little kids enjoy hanging around before the game chatting it up with fellow fans.
Basketball is an excellent theme for a party, especially if your kid plays on the school team and/or loves to watch the sport during March Madness and beyond! Basketball is such a fast-paced, team-orientated game it is sure to bring tons of fun to a party.
