If you can even believe it, McDonald’s Happy Meal is celebrating its 30th birthday this year!  That means I was 8-years-old when I enjoyed my first happy meal.  The portions were just right and the little toy was always a special treat.  Do you allow your children to have a Happy Meal on occasion?  Can you believe the Happy Meal is 30 years old?

Looking for a healthier birthday cake to serve at your next party?  If so, you are in good company as the American Cancer Society (ACS) is too!  Recently, ACS held the Taste More Birthdays Cake Contest as a part of its More Birthdays Campaign.  Who was involved?  The American Culinary Institute of America along with celebrity chef, Duff Goldman, aka Ace of Cakes, who joined in to judge the 5 finalists’ cake creations and select the winner.  The contest was all about creating a better-for-you birthday cake that is also the official birthday cake of the American Cancer Society.  Cool News!
