If you are going to have a flower-, bug-, or outdoor-themed party this summer, you may want to make some caterpillar cupcakes.

Make a batch of cupcakes, and ice not only the tops but also the sides. Line them up like a wiggling caterpillar body. Decorate the first cupcake with gum drops for the eyes and nose and red licorice for the mouth and antennae. Use black licorice to attach the cupcakes together so they look like the body of the caterpillar. If you want to make a fuzzy caterpillar, sprinkle some coconut on top!
