Here’s an innovative party to throw that combines birthday parties in December with a holiday twist for her about-to-turn 6 year old son!

Thanks, Janet, for sharing!

Christmas for Reptiles…plus a few amphibians – much easier to find frog stuff.

For games,

  • I’m planning VERY SLOW TURTLE RACES with some turtle puppets.
  • I have a crocodile pull-string piñata (which will have toy lizards and snakes, as well as candy inside).
  • Tape the Santa Hat on the Sea Turtle.
  • Several skits I’ve created with chameleon and iguana Folkmanis puppets. The Iguana will lead the children in singing Feliz Navidad, but the chorus is “Iguana wish you a Merry Christmas.”
  • The puppets will pass out Gingerbread frogs which I made, and sing “Ginger Frogs, Ginger Frogs, Ginger all the way, oh what fun it is to eat a Ginger frog today-ay!” etc.
  • I bought a Playmobile scene with crocodiles and alligators, which I will use as a cake topper.

If all goes well, it should be fun!
