shutterstock_10637824-1It’s the tail end of the school year and that means thanking teachers and coaches who have helped your children over the past year.  Oftentimes people like to pool resources together to give one class gift.  You know what that means: the homeroom parent must organize collecting money, deciding on the gift, and generally organizing the gifting.   Often this can mean chasing down people for money and trying to figure out an appropriate gift, etc.  Who wants the trouble?

A great solution has been found: edivvy.com. Simply log on and choose your thematic edivvy card that will be sent to the group, customize it with the details and the item that has been chosen ( they have loads of merchants to choose the perfect gift from including Amazon, Apple, Linens & Things and more more, more), set up how much each person contributes either by leaving it open for the people to choose the amount themselves or designate an amount, hit SEND!  Once the amount for the item is reached, the product is shipped out with a gift card that is signed by everyone who contributed.  Simple, easy, and no fuss.

Wait one moment…what if the item is underfunded, e.g. the amount is not reached for the item chosen.  You can either send out reminders, extend the date, or a Visa gift card in the amount that is given is sent to the recipient.  Alternatively, if the item is overfunded, not only does the recipient receive the item, but also a Visa gift card for the extra amount as well.  Cool!

Check it out next time your organizing a group gift!
