What creative venues are there to host a party outside of my home?
While your home is an ideal location for a party, kids often want to “go to town” to celebrate! Some venues to keep in mind when considering your next party include:
Yes, there is Chuck E. Cheese or McDonald’s, and kids love these places, but they’re not ideal for all children or age groups. These venues are often used by parents because they don’t know where else to go or what to do.
For a fun and unique birthday party, explore your community to see what other options may exist. I know if I lived in Hershey, Pennsylvania, or close-by, the chocolate factory would be loads of fun. If I lived in Anaheim, California, perhaps a birthday breakfast with the Disney characters would be a spectacular way to celebrate!
Your area, most likely, has something special to see or do. Incorporate this into a birthday celebration, and it will make for an even more special memory. Brainstorm your list of places and then consider the age of your child and the time you have available for the party. Do your homework to find out what special birthday packages the venue has on offer.
Birthday parties at fun, interesting, and perhaps educational venues are wonderful experiences!
