Disney’s G Force is all about a team of hamsters who, supposedly, have super powers and are trained by the government to gather intelligence and solve crimes. I saw this movie and it’s got a lot of heart, and it seems that hamsters are all the rage as a result. You’ve got Darwin, Blaster, and Juarez – besides these characters there is Mooch the fly and Speckles the Mole. Together, the group is up to espionage to their paws and ready to save the world from kids’ in the pet stores to appliances rigged with chips to attack. It’s a blast of fun, and may just make for an adventure-packed party for your child.

For your party invitation, you can certainly send a thematic invitation that the party stores are carrying or create you own thematic invitation. If you are hand-delivering party invitations, I like the idea of purchasing small plastic balls and filling them with wood chips (much like hamsters like), downloading and printing out pictures of the characters and placing them inside the balls. On the backs of the cards, provide all of your party details. Request that the kids come to your party with the plastic balls.
For your party decorations, supply stores have all of the thematic goods to match this adorable theme. To make the decorations budget-friendly, intersperse the thematic party ware with solid green, yellow, and brown streamers, balloons, and plastic ware for your table.
If your child has a hamster, you may want to either bring him into the party area or place as a table centerpiece.
Transform your party room into a G-Force espionage training center. Place boxes, little gadgets, toy walkie talkies, and more around your area to create the training area for G Force.
Upon the kids arriving to your party, have a face painter on hand to paint G Force on their faces and/or to make their faces look like hamsters.
Play G Force Charades. Can your guests guess who is who?
Hold a G Force Spy Scavenger Hunt. Provide small telescopes for the kids to use to find an assortment of goodies. Given its G Force, hide Lego pieces or little mechanical parts that the kids must hunt out and then put together as a puzzle.
If the kids have brought their plastic balls, use them in a series of relay races, or divide the kids into teams and provide each with plastic balls.
- See who can roll their plastic balls to one end of the party area and back again. If it is a team relay, first team done wins!
- Make sure the balls are empty, and place at one end of the party area. Have straw or wood chips in a large bowl near the teams and a pair of chopsticks. The kids must pick up some hamster stuffing and run to the ball and place it in there. The race is over when one team finishes filling the plastic ball.
- If the plastic balls are small, have a traditional egg race, but use the plastic containers on large spoons.
Set up a G Force Obstacle Course. Just like the G Force team, set up a course using chairs, wooden beams, swing sets, etc. for the kids to complete as quickly as possible.
For your party menu:
Keep it vegetarian, just like the hamsters like it. Veggies with dips, veggie pizza, veggie sandwiches, all are good choices.
For a sweet treat, make these G Force Cookies.
Take a look at these cool G Force Cupcakes made especially for the premiere.
Of course, any sheet cake with G Force cake toppers would be fun too!
For your party favor:
Send the kids home with their spy telescopes, decoder puzzles, dark glasses, and candy walkie talkies for additional fun. It’s all about bringing out the little spies in your own G Force.
Party Tip: Although it may seem tempting to send the kids home with their own hamsters make sure to check if the parents of your guests are OK with this. It could be the same type of situation as sending fish home with your guests.
Say It!
