Gossip Girl is one of the most popular shows on TV these days, and the cast of characters are so interesting and full of intrigue (thanks to Gossip Girl herself!) this show makes for a great teen party…and could even be fun for pre-prom or graduation party themes. In your party invitation, request that your friends come dressed as their favorite character from the show and ask that they play the character during the party as well. If this is for a pre-prom party, make your atmosphere like the Debutante Ball on the show and see who can say the most outrageous lines.
Make this extra fun by not revealing who is who, but after a set amount of time into the party have everyone guess. You can also tag someone as Gossip Girl, but don’t reveal who is spreading the gossip until well into the party. When the guests arrive, provide each with a card, one that is marked with a Gossip Girl logo, and this person is it. They can send text messages during the party, spread other rumors, etc. Try to make sure it remains a mystery, i.e. use a parent’s phone to send the messages.
