Purchase traffic cones and tie a balloon to each one. On the party table purchase small traffic cones and place the characters face on each one. Using a slightly larger cone, tie balloons to it, and let it serve as the centerpiece.
Make felt tool belts that each kid puts on as they enter the party As the kids win prizes, they can add the plastic tool prizes to their belts. Another great party favor for the kids to take home.S tart with a long rectangular shape. Cut smaller rectangles from each side, so there are straps to attach the belt to each person’s waist. Hot glue pockets onto the front of each belt.
Play Handy Manny Says like Simon Says
Give the kids large white cardstock and let them paint their own masterpiece to take home as a goody.
Have a Build-a-Tower contest and using blocks pair the kids off into teams and see who can build the largest tower together.
Have a Handy Manny Relay Race. Divide the kids into two teams and have them dress up as Handy Manny as quickly as they can. The first team done, wins! They can put on a tool belt, hard hat, work gloves, and goggles.
Find three large appliance boxes and paint them to look like Sheetrock Hills where Handy Manny and the tools live. Let the kids free play in the boxes.
Serve lunch either in a lunch bag or box or on clean paint trays. If you are serving hot dogs, have the kids paint on the condiments like mustard and ketchup.
Place utensils in clean paint cans too. Fire Hydrant Cups would also be a fun table decoration.
The party favors can be the tool prizes, hard hats, felt tool belts, but if you are looking for some additional fun, a thematic Handy Manny favor box is another idea.
