holiday party Box Thinking of throwing a holiday party for your little ones this holiday season, and you aren’t totally into the traditional red and green color scheme?  Check out this fun holiday pattern from Birthday in a Box this season.  With a central character of a chubby penguin surrounded by cool blue and peppermints, this is a wonderful thematic pattern that is not only holiday, but also wintry!

The company also offers a darling gingerbread favor box full of penguin fun!

Holiday favor Box

A new pattern to keep in mind when planning your kids’ holiday parties! And if you love the penguins, keep the theme going with this Penguin ice tray.  Use it for plain ice, or fun penguin pops (using lollipop sticks, plastic wrap, and your favorite juice).  You can even use softened ice cream in these to make a fun dessert.  Just leave ice cream on the counter for 15 minutes or so, scoop the softened ice cream into the silcon forms and put back in the freezer until hard.  Because the tray is silcon, popping them out is a breeze.

Or this Penguin cookie cutter, also at Amazon.

Not only can you do the obvious cookies, but use it to cut sandwiches into themed shapes, or for arts and crafts projects.
