An Inflatable Bounce rental is one of the most popular activities to have at a party. Children from the ages of 2 and up could spend hours just bouncing up and down, laughing all the time. For around $150 to $200, this entertainment will keep the kids busy and happy for the entire party. Today, these inflatables are made to match just about any party theme as well, from Clowns to Castles. They are big, friendly, and colorful — and instantly will draw the kids.

Keep the following tips in mind if you are going to rent these bouncers:

  1. Although adults love to play as well, these are really made for kids and so adults should not bounce along. Really, the only people allowed in the bouncer are the kids.
  2. No food or drink, silly string, or any other type of party goody is allowed into the bouncer.
  3. Gymnastic activities are not allowed in the bouncers, nor is just sitting or lying around.
  4. It is best to have compatible age groups play in the bouncer at the same time. So, if you hire a bouncer and have a large age range attending, it is best to regulate who goes in for “X” amount of time with kids of the same age. Different age groups and kid sizes should not be mixed.
  5. Kids should be supervised at ALL times. Make sure to have an adult volunteer or hire a babysitter to watch the kids. They will watch the activity in the bouncer, as well as make sure the kids not in the bouncer stay a safe distance away from the bouncer and keep away from the power area.
  6. Pets should be kept away from the bouncer, and should not be allowed into the bouncer.
  7. Do not unplug the bouncer while kids are inside the unit.
  8. If on your party day there are high winds, a thunderstorm, or rain, the bouncer should not be used. If these conditions develop while kids are in the bouncer, make sure to get the kids out of the bouncer immediately and unplug the unit so it will deflate.
  9. Make sure to check out the cancellation policy in case of such conditions developing.
  10. A few organized activities that the kids can play in the bouncer include: Have an adult yell out an animal, and the kids must bounce like that animal and make those animal noises, play “Red Light, Green Light” when you yell out Red Light the kids must freeze and then on Green Light they can move about freely (the last one to freeze must leave the bouncer). You can also do variations on this game where when you call green light, they must do something particular, i.e. hop like a kangaroo.
  11. Make sure to have lots of water and other drinks on hand for the bouncing kids.
  12. Keep sprinklers away from the bouncer, otherwise the water will cause it to deflate.
