So, you will be celebrating your kid’s birthday party with family and friends in a different state, and you can’t carry heavy toys or big presents back with you on the plane….and you would like to ask for gift cards instead of traditional presents…do make sure to write a note to your guests in your invitation so that they understand your preference.

Simple language like:

Given I must fly to and fro my home, gift cards would be most welcome.

This gives your guests your gift preference and the reason why in the invitation. Hopefully, you will get exactly what you have asked for!

  1. I am having a Cooking Themed Party for my almost 7-year old and need language to go on the invitation. I am using recipe cards but need specific language to fill in the required fields on the recipe card. Any suggestions?
