Mini Water Balloons

If it is a particularly windy day and your kids’ party is outdoors, and you can see that the table cloth is about to fly off the table, a particularly useful idea is to fill and tie mini water balloons and attach them to the ends of the tablecloth. They look festive and will do the trick quite nicely. If you have a cake outdoors on the party table and have a towel casually thrown over the pan to keep bugs away, attaching the mini water balloons to the ends of the towel will keep it in place despite the wind as well.

If you have extras or want an additional festive touch, attach a few mini water balloons to the straws in the kids’ drinks. They will love these and, most likely, will enjoy popping them.
