Party Crafts from The Craft blogHow do you fill the time at your child’s party, beyond eating cake and opening presents? The CRAFT blog has some great ideas for crafts that will keep your young guests busy. The kids’ creations make great take-home favors, too!

Velcro Catch Ball
Super easy instructions to make a velcro ball that sticks to regular knit gloves.  A perfect game at a party or as a party favor.

Finger Knitting
Fun activity for a party — making a finger knitted necklace or scarf!

Fabric Scrap Necklace

This would be fun for a little girl’s party – using three thin strips of scrap fabric, you can braid a really pretty necklace!

No-Sew Ribbon Cuff

This is a project that would require adult help (with the iron) but it would be a lot of fun if you had a bunch of different ribbons that girls could pick from and then they could go home from the party with a pretty new bracelet!

Mermaid Tail
This would be something to do before a party, to give to the girls or boys when they arrive.  It’s mermaid (or merman) tails.  Lots of fun for an undersea party theme, and an amazing party favor for guests to take home!
