Pony Party Ideas for Kids

A little Pony Party will be a popular theme for small children, ages 3 to 5. Here are a few ideas for your Pony theme party. This is one theme that would fit very well with an entertainer ~ one who brings a pony to your home for pony rides. If you hire someone like this, most of your party will be planned as the entertainer should keep the kids busy with the pony.

Here are some other ideas for your Pony Party:

If you are crafty, take a big appliance box and paint it red and decorate it like a barn. The kids can all have fun playing in the pony barn together. This would probably keep them occupied most of the party actually.

Cut holes into your “barn” and enjoy a bean bag toss.

Play Pin the tail on the horse. You could even paint a “tail-less” horse on your barn and have the kids pin the tail on there.

You can make paper bag vests for the kids to wear along with giving them bandanas. If you hand them a sheet of stickers, they can decorate the barn with them as well.

Break a Pony Pinata.

Make sugar cookies in the form of a horseshoe and have the kids ice and decorate them ~ and then eat them!

Have the kids color pony pictures together and/or put together pony puzzles.
