Rapunzel’s Revenge Costume and Resources

Have you heard of the tween graphic novel Rapunzel’s Revenge by Shannon Hale and her husband Dean Hale?  Of course, you know the classic fairy tale Rapunzel, which Disney never seemed to touch … so, this is a modern day adventure for Rapunzel!  And it is done as a graphic novel — sure to be a hit.  The Today Show picked this book for Al’s Book Club too.  Tune in to hear what the kid experts say about this book, or check it out Rapunzel’s Revenge on Amazon.

Rapunzel would make a great Halloween costume this year.  It’s a western  so kids can either be Rapunzel or Jack wearing traditional western garb: boots, vests, jeans, hats … but make sure if you are Rapunzel you have your long red hair that can be used to your advantage!  Either purchase a wig or make your own long hair with red braids of yarn attached to your own wig or hair.  How cool!  Rapunzel’s hair is the best!
