Looking for a way to make sure your guests RSVP.  You might want to try putting next to the RSVP line in your invitation, “Regrets Only!”  Many people assume that if they plan on attending, that they don’t need to RSVP because the host parent assumes you will be there.  So, if you write “Regrets Only” on the RSVP line, you are doing exactly that, assuming that the guests will attend, unless you hear otherwise.

It’s a good idea to try!

  1. These days… a lot of guests don’t respond to RSVPs anymore and of course that just wrong when you actually thought these guests are lovely friends/family. Anyway, to get your guests to respond to the RSVPs is to not to write (or type) where the location will be held. This is a trick to get them to respond/call you and you can ask/get an answer if she/he/they is/are planning to attend. Believe it or not its work more efficiency. You can do this on an invitation cards or by hand-deliver or by emailing or text messaging these days.
Here are few other tips you can try also:

You can just write ‘Reply By Date on Wednesday, March 11, 2009’.
    OR ‘Request for a Response’.
OR ‘Please Respond and Return by Friday’. (Or call)
    OR ‘RSVP’s is a must’.
OR ‘RSVPs must be returned by Friday, April 3, 2009’.
OR ‘Required RSVPs Only’, by Wednesday, March 11, 2009’.
OR ‘RSVPs Only’, by Wednesday, March 11, 2009’.

RSVPs seem to be not working efficiency anymore. If you prefer old-fashion way, call them and ask if they are coming for sure. Do this a week before. Hearing a their voice is a best way to get an answer.

    Good Luck,
    Y.
