I was visiting the amazing Bakerella site and absolutely love her idea of a Sprinkle Display. This not only brightens up your kitchen on an everyday basis, but if you are hosting a kids’ cooking party, makes a great party decoration that leads to many different activities.
For Sprinkle Activities, try the following:
1. Have the kids fill the jars and mix and match them up.
2. Hold a Sprinkle Taste Test.
3. Add labels to the jars and have the kids Name That Sprinkle!
4. Decorate cookies, cupcakes, and other baked goods with all of the delights.
5. How many sprinkles are in the jar? (Best to do with larger ones, like cinnamon drops, that you can actually count.)
6. Create edible crafts, instead of beads and glitter glue, use the sprinkles to make party crafts.
7. Send the kids home with their very own sprinkle jar that they have filled and named as a party favor.
Lots of colorful inspiration for more fun at your next kid’s party!
