Stacking Cup Cake Recipe

Does your kid love to play with Sassy Stacking Cups?  They are darling! 

If you are looking for a birthday cake to match these cups for your next party, here’s the recipe:

Use 3 boxes (16 oz) pound cake mix and bake the batter in 2 9×13 pans for 45 minutes.  Cool completely.  Cut one 4″, one 5″, and one 6″ circle from each cake. 

Trim tops to make level.  Layer 6″ cakes and frost desired color.  Repeat with the 5″ and 4″ layers.  Refrigerate cakes for 30 minutes.  Stack the circles on a serving plate.  Place trimmed skewer through centers of layers to secure. 

Pipe decorative patterns onto sides.
