The Art of Saying Thanks…
So, the guests have left, your party was a true success with your birthday kid feeling special and happy…the big day is over.
You may have decided to open the presents during the party, or to save them for a private opening without friends around. Either way is perfectly acceptable.
I would say that there is one more thing to do…don’t forget the thank you notes. And this applies to all of those holiday gifts your kids receive as well.
Sit down with your children after the party and write notes of thanks. It will be a lesson and a value instilled in them in a fun and easy way…as the birthday kid who has just gotten a bunch of gifts to express appreciation and thanks!
Kids can also sign their name or draw some art in the card…this will be greatly appreciated by the recipient as well.
Saying thanks is always in vogue and fashionable in my opinion…I hope that all parents will add writing Thank You notes on their “things to do” party checklist.
