World Cup Fun

Although the US doesn’t really have World Cup Fever, the rest of the world is in the throes of watching the semi-finals and cheering for their favorite teams! If you are a fan and want to have a fun World Cup party for your kids during one of the upcoming “BIG” games here are some ideas!  These ideas also work for a World Cup themed birthday for your little soccer star, even when the World Cup isn’t going on.

• Provide face paint colors of the competing teams (or of your son or daughter’s team) and have the kids paint their favorite team colors on their faces. You could just paint the flag on their cheeks, or let the kids pait their whole faces.
• Provide white card stock and have the kids make flags for their favorite teams.
• Play soccer!
• Enjoy a drill of a soccer obstacle course.
• Guess the final score of the match that you are watching.
• Design fantasy teams of players.
