I interweave music and stories to provide an experience where children may be active listeners and participants. I play guitar, as well as use felt-board figures, finger-puppets and story dolls. I respect children as human beings without treating them as "little adults." My birthday party performances are geared for preschoolers and young kindergarteners.

Typical Party Package

I draw from a variety of traditional sources to present songs and stories that adult caregivers will enjoy along with the children. The overall storytelling programs are joyful and welcoming while avoiding overstimulation of the senses. Programs for children at the younger end of the spectrum emphasize music with very short stories as "bridges". Please have me perform before you serve the cake. Please provide a comfortable space for the children where battery-powered toys and media devices will not distract attention from the performance. I can also perform at a venue you choose that has its own separate party space.

Small daycare groups and birthday parties (15 children or less): $120.00 for 30 minutes.

My rates are based on travel within the city of Seattle. I accept cash and personal checks.
