The founders, Lisa and Shiv, met very serendipitously in Seattle in late 2005.

She believes that no matter the budget or the amount of time a parent has, a great kids’ party can always be planned. Her passion is helping parents achieve this with minimal time and effort.

| Shiv Chandrasekaran had developed a business model when he was at NYU's Stern School of Business to
help parents connect with kids' entertainers. With process-engineering and systems
design expertise, Shiv had envisioned how to do this in an easy, cost-effective manner.

When Shiv and Lisa met, she discussed her experience with party planning, and he
shared his thoughts on how they could help busy parents find party ideas and
entertainers. Together, they re-launched Peppers and Pollywogs to help parents
with their kids' party planning needs.
