We have gathered some tips and tricks to make the holiday sea­son a fun time for you and your kids. We hope you will enjoy and benefit from this newsletter.

Whether you celebrate a birthday in December or a kids’ holiday party, “The Nutcracker” is an excellent theme, es­pecially if your kids take ballet as an activity and happen to have a role in the performance.

For an invitation, use nutcracker printables or stickers on heavy card stock. Use a tulle ribbon to attach a small card to the Nutcracker that provides the party de­tails.  

Giving kids time to dance, to coordinate a dance together, and freely enjoy this time will be both creative and fun. Make Sugar Plums and serve with hot cocoa! [more…]

If your kid was born around the holiday season, they generally have a holiday birthday party, their birth­day gifts mingle with the Christmas ones, and there really is no unique birthday celebration.

Even if it isn`t possible every year it is good to shake things up a bit and throw a unique party in Decem­ber. Have a Faux Summer Beach Party. An Around The World party will be great, and educational too!

Planning ahead of time for a birth­day party completely unrelated to a holiday theme will be quite man­ageable, especially if you take it to an outside party venue. [more…]

If you are trying to teach your birthday kid the idea of philanthropic giving or if kid really doesn`t need any more stuff, you could say so in the invitation.

Make sure to choose a charity before the party and write a line about the mission of the organization in the invita­tion. 

The more involved your kid is in this decision, the better he will grasp the idea of philanthropic giv­ing this season. [more…]
